I implemented various activities to keep on learning new languages, moving from basic words to more complex phrases.
This badge shows my curiosity in languages and determination to take up more complex tasks for language learning.
I had to accomplish at least 2 out of 3 tasks to earn this badge, and evidence was reviewed and confirmed by my mentor.
The badge is part of the Achievements Programme for the European Solidarity Corps.

Locate some unknown and more far away place from your home. Try out navigating to the location without using a mobile phone, but just by using local language and help from locals.
As an evidence, share briefly the route, how far did you go and what new words you learned while navigating the streets.  It can be a text or an audio that you record and upload it here.
The task is completed after the mentor confirms your evidence.

Pick a song/video clip of local music and try to translate and understand the meaning of it.
Try to capture some keywords and phrases. Feel free to ask locals to clarify the cultural meaning of some expressions.
Share the song you chose and what phrases you’ve learned throughout this task.

Think of some task(s) that would allow you to learn at least 10 new useful phrases in a local language for your volunteering and living at this location.
You can turn to the mentor for help in defining some language learning strategies.
