If you find yourself here, it means you have successfully applied (and were choosen) to join "Cities and Regions of Learning" Youth Forum - as a final event of the "Young people Co-Design Cities of Learning" project.
The forum will take place between 15th and 19th of July 2022 in Magdeburg, Germany. You will have a chance to meet with young people from various European cities and regions of learning:
Saxony-Anhalt (Germany)
Metropolitan Cagliari (Sardinia, Italy)
Vilnius (Lithuania)
Tilburg (the Netherlands)
Vestfold og Telemark (Norway)
Novi Sad (Serbia)
Ljubljana (Slovenia)
Lorca (Spain)
The forum's main objective is to finalise drafting policy recommendations by the young people on the topics
chosen by them. The forum seeks to bring together young people and youth workers to work together on a set of policy recommendations that will be presented to local and European decision-makers. The recommendations will be related to:
mental health,
inclusion,
participation,
sustainability and
non-formal learning.

Their purpose is to prepare yourself to be an active participant during the forum by:
exploring the steps of (and reporting on) ADVOCACY
exploring the purpose and power of policy recommendations
exploring the 5 topics we will tackle during the Youth Forum

The forum's main objective is to finalise drafting policy recommendations by the young people on the topics
chosen by them. The forum seeks to bring together young people and youth workers to work together on a set of policy recommendations that will be presented to local and European decision-makers. The recommendations will be related to:

During the forum, participants will also have time to present their ADVOCACY CAMPAINS which you have created during the Youth Seminar in Lorca and then presented to local stakeholders. We will want to hear, what have you discussed with them and what was their feedback on your campain.
Here you divide in 2 groups:
GROUP:Who participated in Lorca's Youth Seminar.Go over your campain. Remember what the stakeholders you presented it to said. Create a short sum up. It can be either a presentation/poster, elevator pitch or any other form you choose. You can work individually or in your group.
GROUP: Who are new to the initiative. Go over the provided material. Get acquainted with the steps of advocacy. Think of a issue (within the 5 topics we will discuss in the Youth Forum) and filled out the first 5 steps from the handout (defining the problem (ISSUE), setting a goal (GOAL), defining the policy makers you need to adress (TARGET AUDIENCE), creating an efficient message (MESSAGE DEVELOPMENT). When answering you can create a presentation/poster, elevator pitch or any other form you choose. You can work individually or in your group.
The recipient of this badge will attend the "Cities and Regions of Learning" Youth Forum - as a final event of the "Young people Co-Design Cities of Learning" project, that will take place between between 15th and 19th of July 2022 in Magdeburg, Germany.

Went over the planned campain he/she created during Youth Seminar in Lorca. Remembered what the stakeholders he/she presented it to said and create a short sum up - in a form she/he has chosen.
If new to the inititive. He/she went over the provided material. Got acquainted with the steps of advocacy and filled out the first 5 steps from the handout in a form she/he has chosen.

Share your advocacy camapain presentation. You can chose whatever format you wish (PPT, poster, elevator pitch, video, graphic facilitation, ....) but it has to cleary present:
the steps of campain (WHAT, HOW, WHY, WHERE, WITH WHOM) and
(for those attending the Youth Seminar) the feedback you got from your meeting with stakeholders.
