Apie
This activity will help you engage with and meet other people across Europe who share similar concerns about the future of the environment.
People in rural areas often feel isolated, believing that others do not share their environmental concerns. Our goal is to connect young people from all over Europe who share these worries, enabling them to discuss these issues and organise collective solutions.
First, get inspired!
Watch a video to learn how the ‘Youth Climate Movement’ began. Originally launched by various activists raising awareness online about the urgent need for action, the movement succeeded in mobilising many young people and organising activities across Europe. This will provide you with insight and inspiration to follow their example.

Now, take action!
Through this activity, you will become more aware of how individuals in different areas face environmental challenges. Exchanging ideas, struggles, and thoughts brings us closer to finding solutions that address the core of these issues and helps create a network of people with shared interests.
- Try to find others in your area who are interested in environmental activities. Even one or two like-minded people are enough to support your first steps in identifying key areas for improvement in your community.
- Research online to learn about different associations in Belgium or relevant EU stakeholders that address these issues. Look into their activities and actions to gain inspiration and see how similar challenges have been resolved by others.
- Connect with individuals from different areas to discuss the environmental issues you care about most. Register with a public group focused on the environment or connect with others online. This exchange will help you see how similar problems have been approached elsewhere. By discussing these topics, you may not only gain insights but also inspire or be inspired by others.
