In the framework of Erasmus+ KA2 project Connected Cities of Learning, the Metropolitan City of Cagliari together with Associazione Interculturale Nur and the partners from Ljubljana City of Learning (TiPovej! and the City of Ljubljana) and Vilnius City of Learning (Nectarus and Creativitas) meet the stakeholders and partners from the Metropolitan City of Cagliari to present our platform and badges!

Connected Cities of Learning: L'apprendimento in rete

The event Connected Cities of Learning: L'apprendimento in rete, taking place on Friday, May 20th at Palazzo Regio in Cagliari, will be an opportunity to exchange experiences and good practices between the partners of the Cities and Regions of Learning Network and local partners and stakeholders regarding digital badges and micro-credentials used as a tool for recognising learning and achievements.

We will share the projects that make up the Cities and Regions of Learning initiative, what our platform is all about and how we implement badges in non-formal education settings.
The event will be enriched by the participation of, among others, the Chamber of Commerce of Cagliari-Oristano, Eurodesk Italy, Europe Direct Regione Sardegna, Imago Mundi, Sardarch and Unica Radio, who will be sharing more about their own use of badges and the importance of micro-credentials in EU priorities for the upcoming years.

During the meeting participants will be able to:
  • Learn more about the Cities and Regions of Learning initiative, the platform and badges, as well as the Connected Cities of Learning project;
  • Exchange experiences related to the use of badges as micro-credentials in a wide variety of learning environments (from the business sector to formal and non-formal education settings);
  • Create new networking opportunities on a local and international level, by exchanging ideas, contacts and opinions, and sharing good practices.
