You have to get all badges from the list below
The Science Master badge is a recognition of my efforts in taking tasks linked to mathematics, science, and technology, reflecting my significant contribution to my volunteering service.
I had to complete at least 3 out of 4 tasks to earn this badge, and evidence was reviewed and confirmed by my mentor.
This badge is part of the Achievements Programme for the European Solidarity Corps.
Tasks
Issued by organiser or scanning QR code
Is there an event soon at the place where you volunteer? Show your interest and take charge by working out what is needed for the event. This includes both money and things.
You can also think of ways to spend less money on the event. Maybe you can get help from people in the community or find things that cost less.
Please upload a list of what the event needs. This can be a written list or a file.
The task is completed after the mentor confirms your evidence.

One of the skills in the competence of science is the skill to create an inquiry on a specific subject. We challenge you to build a short questionnaire with the aim of researching if young people locally would be keen on ESC volunteering, what they would like to do, and where they would like to do it.
Would you like to explore some other area? No problem, make a choice and create a mini-survey about it.
For the evidence, briefly share the results of such a survey by uploading a file or just write a text with your findings. Also, mention how many people did you manage to ask.
The task is completed after the mentor confirms your evidence.

Have you thought about how eco-friendly your volunteer place is? Do a simple check. Look at things like how much paper or plastic is used, or how lights are left on.
Make a list of easy things to do that could make your place more green, like recycling more or using less water.
Write down or take pictures of your eco-friendly ideas and how you think they can help.
Upload your list or pictures.

Think of a small problem at your volunteer work that you and others face. Can you make something simple to help? Maybe a chart to keep track of tasks, or a few posters with tips and hints on how to deal with some re-appearing problems.
Try to make this tool or write down your idea with drawings to explain it.
Share your tool or idea plan. If it’s something you made, you can upload pictures or a link. If it’s an idea, upload your drawings and explanation.
